For we WALK by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength... they will WALK and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 But, I say, WALK by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 And WALK in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us Ephesians 5:2 ...Walking my path with the Lord, and living my life for Him. There is never a dull moment in this life, and I love every minute of it!!!

My first post!!!
Ever since I saw Julie and Julia, I have wanted a blog of my own, but I'm honestly not really sure what you are supposed to do with these things. Maybe I should come up with some deep thoughts... nope, I got nothing :)
Oh well, if all else fails, I can just write about what I've been up to. In the past week, I have embarked on a quest to lose the four pounds I have gained since I bought my wedding dress earlier this year.... the quest involves eating totally Paleo!
*No bread-(agh!!)
*No beans --which for me means limited beans- (because who doesn't love some good ol' healthy black beans on a salad?!? And doggone it, I just don't believe those will kill me!!)
*No sweets or sugars of any kind- (agh!! again)
*No dairy (not agh! because I don't like milk anyway)- and YES Mom, I am taking a calcium supplement :)
Once I stepped on the god-forsaken scale and realized the four pounds were not just my "weight fluctuating," (as I wanted to believe), or "adding muscle" (as I also claimed for awhile), and admitted to myself that all I have eaten the past month is JUNK!!! (Or "poison" as our friend, Eric White calls it), I realized the wedding was in two weeks, and it was time to bring out the big guns.
5 days in, and I am down two pounds as of last night! (Of course it remains to be seen whether or not this continues to be the case, since this morning to "reward myself" I gobbled a bunch of heaven known as "Sour gummy life savers"... my worst downfall :)
... Back to being good for lunch!!! Boiled egg whites, avocado, deli meat, and broccoli. Don't sour gummy life savers sound SO much more appealing?!?! :)
